Last year, me and my friends had visited "Mahashramdan" camp arranged by "Paani Foundation" -our little contribution towards drought-free Maharashtra. That was our first experience with "Paani Foundation". We registered online and received SMS. They allotted us a village named as Vadzire located in Sinner Tehsil, Nashik district as our work location. On the evening of 30th April 2019, We have started our journey from Kalyan to Sinnar. We are expected to reach sinner by 12 to 01 am late night , still we did not  decided our halt location. I remembered one of my friend from sinner-Mr. Kiran Bhavsar as we are working together with "Think Maharashtra.com" (an organization which works to collect information about Maharashtrian culture). We discussed our schedule with him and he suggested to visit "Sahara rehabilitation centre" run by Mr. Madhukar Gite, situated in Mendhi village about 25KM from Sinner. In 2018, major fire breaks out in slum area of Patil Estate, Warje in Pune, Maharashtra. Many houses were burnt in that fire. One of my friend had appealed on Facebook  for helping those people. So I shared his post on my WhatsApp and Facebook wall. A stranger- Mr.Nilesh Bachhav instantly replied on my Facebook post and inquired about the needs. So I told him the required things and in a single day, he managed to collect old clothes and blankets that too in good condition & properly packed. Then he sent those packed boxes to Pune with the help of my friend Mr.Parmeshwar. And thus our friendship started. I went through his facebook posts & got to know that he provides food and medical help to people living on the streets along with his friends -Mr.Kushal and Mr. Sai. Then I had a detailed call with Mr.Nilesh and Mr.Kushal just to get more information about their work. I am living in Talasari city (located in Palghar district of Maharashtra state in India) near Maharashtra & Gujarat state border. My flat is on the third floor of the building and hence from bedroom window, I had a clear view of sugarcane field spread over few acres on back side of the building. On the day of Holi festival, I noticed around fifty people had gathered there. I immediately observed that those were Sugarcane workers and must had been appointed for harvesting Sugarcane field.  I always look for such opportunity to communicate with such working people from different class, different fields or different area etc. Actually I was very happy and much excited to know about them, their daily routine, about their children, their life experiences.
